It's Killing Us

"This is a substance as addictive as nicotine which is embedded in everything we consume" says author David Gillespie, who write Sweet Poison.

Here is an engaging presentation from Australian TV about how insidious sugar is in our diet and life.

It does way more damage than just weight gain and cavities.

Since sugar began being mass produced in the early 1800's it has snuck it's way into everything. Many types of bread and rice actually have a higher glycemic index than sugar. Organic dried apple pieces are even 80% sugar!

One thing that we may not realize is that sugar directly interferes with our appetite control hormones that tell us when to stop eating!
