Grow Your Own Medicine Chest

See how easy it is to grow edible ginger. In a warm climate, it can go right in the ground, but anyone can grow it in a large pot.

If you begin growing your ginger in the spring, with temperatures over 60 degrees F, you can leave your pot outside. Ideal temperature for growing ginger root is over 75 degrees F.

This delicious root has tremendous healing properties. To name a few, ginger is anti-inflammatory, can prevent migraines and even fights ovarian cancer. Start growing your own medicine chest!
