All Is Well

On November 10, 2008, Dr. Eben Alexander was driven into coma by a rare and mysterious bacterial meningitis-encephalitis of unknown cause. He spent a week in coma on a ventilator, and wasn't expected to make a recovery.

On the seventh day, to the surprise of everyone, he awoke and remembered vividly the journey he had taken, into the afterlife.

His experience clearly revealed that we are conscious in spite of our brain - that, in fact, consciousness is at the root of all existence.

"I hope to tell my story to everyone I possible can in this world because I think it will help this world to be a much better place" he says in this interview with Elizabeth Vargas, of 20/20.

"All Is Well" was the message his spirit guide continually gave him telepathically on his journey to this wondrous place, and that is the first thing he said when he awoke.

His book on the experience, "Proof Of Heaven" made it to the #1 spot on the New York Times Bestseller list in 2012.
