Never Ever Give Up!

Maisie DeVore raised over $100,000 for a community pool for the children in Eskridge, Kansas by tirelessly collecting aluminum cans and selling them for recycling.

She drove a 40 mile loop every single week for THIRTY years.

The meager payment ran from 5 cents a pound when she started to 34 cents a pound when the project saw the light of day. Now the kids have a swimming pool, thanks to this amazing lady who never gave up on her dream.

She is still making the rounds to pay for the pool's maintenance, cleaning up the country roads as she goes.
